G'DAY - GREEN DAY ARTIST TONE MATCH

Green Day have always captured classic guitar sounds on their recordings that have held up timelessly. The no nonsense guitar tone makes them great all round candidates for playing rock music.

I've created 2 presets for Line 6 Helix in this pack - one going for their raunchier earlier tone, and one more modern 'hi-fi' sounding tone. Also included are 2 amazing sounding studio grade IR's from my collection that capture the voicing of Green Day's guitar tone.

Their approach to miking guitars in the studio looks to have remained somewhat constant over the years, so I've gone for a blend of a 57 and 421 on a Marshall 1960BV cab with 16 Ω V30's. Both presets use the same 2 IR's but balanced differently.

Absolutely no involvement from Green Day or anyone other than myself. You can decide for yourself how close this sounds.
