An absolute gem of a Mesa Oversized cabinet - this one has original V30's dating to 1992, the first year Rectifier's were introduced to the world. The cab is interesting in that it has some cosmetic differences to all the later ones; velcro-removable grille, flat logo badge, smooth tolex, push in castors, jackplate with 3 sockets).
Sound wise, this is typical of the early 90's V30 tone, its brighter and more reminiscent of a Greenback's top end, with a full a deep low end that you'd expect from an oversized cabinet from Mesa.
IR's captured from Mesa's "Oversized" sized Slant cabinet. Mesa spec 8 Ω V30's from 1992. All 4 speakers captured from left to right. Mic's include USA made Shure Unidyne III sm57, Shure sm7b, Beyerdynamic m201, Beyerdynamic m160, Sennheiser MD421-U4.
Clean IR's and load compensated for React IR, Suhr and Fryette load boxes. Also includes MPT and natural phase IR's.
This IR Pack includes:
- 4 Speakers
- 5 Microphones for each speaker.
- Nearly 4000 individual IR's
- Clean, and "Load Box Compensated" versions for all IR's
- Microphones recorded with a 1073 mic preamp through mastering grade converters.
- 48kHz 24 bit 500ms .wav
No involvement/support/endorsement from any manufacturers. Sharing or reselling of IR's is strictly prohibited - licence to use the IR's is limited only to the customer.
