From a 1996 1960A cabinet, I really like these speakers for being aggressive and sitting well in a mix. They are seriously underrated speakers, despite being responsible for so many classic recordings.


This IR Pack includes:

- 4 Speakers
- 4 Microphones for each speaker. Shure sm57 Unidyne III, Beyerdynamic m201 N(C), Beyerdynamic m160, Sennheiser MD421-U4
- TG-2 Preamp
- Clean, React IR Compensated versions for all IR's
- 48kHz 24 bit 500ms .wav



No involvement/support/endorsement from any manufacturers. If you are using the Fryette compensated versions, I'd suggest setting your load to 16 ohms, Warm, and Edge for the most accurate results (but adjust by ear if you see necessary).

Perfect for 90s Metal

These IRs get those classic 90s album sounds when used with all sorts of amp sims. Nevermore's DHIADW, Death's symbolic, sound of perseverance, mastodons early records, you name it. This is that sound. Compensated and regular IRs are a must and I appreciate having both options. Ed truly makes the best IRs. Couldn't be happier. This is the closest you'll get to a mic'd cab (its pretty much the same). No eq-ing or post processing bs done to these IRs. The real deal right here!

V30 alternative

If you are looking for a different sound character than the usual V30, try the T75 and Eighty Four (T75) IR packs.
