Wow! What an exciting start this has been. I've basically been figuring it out as I go along, so apologies if things seem a little manic. Thanks so much to everyone who's picked up something so far. I really hope they are delivering everything you hoped from them.

I added some more IR packs this week -

  • A 1960B fitted with 1999 UK made 16 Ω V30's - I called it WORKHORSE as its a solid all rounder.
  • The HALFBACK pack, which is based on a very early 90's Mesa 2x12 fitted with an EVM12L Classic and Black Shadow. The top half is open back, the bottom half has a Thiele style cabinet with ports and batting. Totally different to anything else I've done so far and I included a few extra mics which people may enjoy for cleaner tones (AKG C414 B-ULS and Audio Technica AT4050)
  • EV1L, which is an original 1985 Mesa spec EVM12L in a Mesa Mark III cabinet. Again, with lots of mic positions and options.
  • 2144 G12-65 - its like a sibling pack for the 2045 G12-65. Its a semi open back combo amp, similar dimensions but with a different baffle and more open tone. To my ear they sound a little fatter and rounder.
  • 70 GREEN. I found this speaker in a battered old Marshall cab and it seemed to be free from cone rub or any other issues, so I replaced a (replaced) Chinese G12m25 in my 1960TV cab. Its a 1970 T1281 G12H speaker, and I can't believe how good it sounds. Its in between the Black Back H30's and a G12m25 to my ear, a little more squishy than the later 70's ones. I'd love to do a pack of 4 of them, but they're hard to come by at reasonable prices. Just one in this pack as I only have one for now.
  • H30 Black - all as before, but now with the 4th speaker. When I bought this cab, one speaker had been replaced at some point with a T75. I randomly stumbled on someone selling a G12H30 55hz from the same month as the other 3, so it felt right to make it a complete set again. I finally got around to sampling it and adding it to the collection with the other 3.
I also added a couple more Helix presets, based on various requests I had. I'm more than happy to take requests - some are easier to do that others but Im always willing to give it a shot. It gives me a good excuse to try and unravel some of the techniques used on my favourite recordings.

I have an announcement coming soon for about another 10 or so more cab packs so hold tight there. For the time being I think I have captured everything in my arsenal, so the focus will be on getting more Kemper packs up for sale.

Lastly, the response I've had from everyone so far has been awesome - I'm really excited to hear these products be put to use on new music. I've made a Facebook group where people can share how they're using these products, as well as reach me for any help/tips or for requests. Please join in!
